Revealed – Who Is The Girl On Hate Story Poster?

Stirring up huge hype was the unknown girl who captured male fantasy in the provocative posters of Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story.
It is now learnt that the girl is none other than the sexy siren from Kolkata, Paoli Dam. Talking exclusively to Mumbai Mirror, the actress, who is known for her controversial and bold roles in Bangla cinema, claimed that when Bhatt called her up on April 1, she thought it was a joke. “However, I went to Mumbai and met him and it all fell into place.”
The actress stated it is a great oppertunity for her. “It is a kind of role that I have never thought about and it is a very bold screenplay,” she said.
Paoli made her very first apperance with the Bengali movie Agnipariksha in 2006 and won several admirations for her Kaalbela, directed by critically acclaimed director Gautam Ghose.
Along with that she has also worked with Bipasha Basu in Shob Charitro Kalponik directed by Rituparno Ghosh. Paoli Dam created a huge stir for her nude scene in the movie Chhatrak which was premiered at the Cannes and Toronto Film Festivals.
Paoli defends her bold roles, saying, “As an actor, I have no inhibitions. I watch a lot of bold movies.. the way I have been brought up, the kind of cinema I have been exposed to … I don’t think I should have a problem with my body.. I have done a lot of bold movies.. End of the day, it is about the mindset,” she says.
Paoli says she has had to loose a lot of weight for the erotic thriller, is absolutely exited with the reaction she has received from the unit and the filmmakers so far. As for the audience, let’s wait and watch.
