Lea Sara Wittwer won the Miss Earth Switzerland contest in a glittering event beamed live on a primetime television. Hurdling over much taller candidates, Lea Sara, 20 years old and 5'5" tall, proved that the Miss Earth pageant is more than just being tall or beautiful but it is mostly about the genuine concern for the environment. And the finals night of the pageant is peppered with so many instances that highlight the need to protect Mother Earth. Finalists for example donned swimsuits while holding placards about the protection of nature.
