Ireland is an island, so it should be obvious they have good seafood, but it’s only recently that it’s started to be featured in Irish cooking. But from what I encountered in pub after pub you’d think they’ve been doing this for centuries! They serve up ocean eats to rival any coastal nation, and in my humble opinion they’ve come out on top.

Borshch, orscht is a Russian national passion - a broad recipe for soup that explains the country's cultural and culinary traditions. All over Russia, cooks make borscht according to their regional recipes, using ingredients that range from mushrooms and horseradish to cilantro and bell peppers. Ideal on cold and gray days, borscht always contains beets, which are simultaneously husky and subtle, and then - because it was a soup that fed poor farmers - just about anything that happens to be on hand.

A finished borscht is a cheering sight. Its brilliant color, topped with a dollop of sour cream and a garnish of dill, makes a stunning presentation. Full of vegetables and meat, the layered flavors in this soup are especially nice with a dollop of fresh sour cream.

You may have already heard of pirozhki. A common variety of pirozhki are baked stuffed buns made from yeast dough and often glazed with egg to produce the common golden colour. They commonly contain meat (typically beef) or a vegetable filling (mashed potatoes, mushrooms, onions and egg, or cabbage). Pirozhki could also be stuffed with fish (e.g., salmon) or with an oatmeal filling mixed with meat or giblets. Sweet-based fillings could include stewed or fresh fruit (apples, cherries, apricots, chopped lemon, etc.), jam, or cottage cheese; The buns may be plain and stuffed with the filling, or else be made in a free-form style with strips of dough decoratively encasing the filling.

Caviar, or ikra is really something to get worked up about in Russia. Briny and sharp, it is often served on dark, crusty bread or with blini, which are like pancakes or crepes. Caviar on buttered bread is a popular zakuska.

Blini are also served rolled with a variety of fillings: jam, cheese, onions, or even chocolate syrup. At any restaurant where you aren’t sure of any of the other dishes, blini are always a safe bet. Bliniare such an important part of Russian cuisine, a festival called Maslenitsa celebrates the beginning of spring with them.

Russian kebabs are called shashlyk. Like any kebab, they can be a combination of meat and vegetables.

Pelmeni are pastry dumplings filled typically with meatballs. They can be served alone, slathered in butter and topped with sour cream, or in a soup broth. Definitely a favorite in Russia and abroad!

It is common and hard truth that we can’t stop aging, but we can surely protect your skin from premature aging. Some people develop early signs of aging when they are still young. These symptoms can be treated very effectively to get a skin that looks healthy and young.

There are many things that you can do protect your skin from wrinkles and spots that start appearing due to aging.

1.    Avoid direct contact with sun. Your skin is very sensitive towards the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. These rays cause cell damage making the skin dry and dry skin gets wrinkles very fast. So use good sunscreens if you are getting exposed to the sun. It’s better to cover the body areas with cotton clothes if you are under the sun for a long time.

2.    Maintain Moisture, Moisture is essential to maintain that glow on your skin. Always keep your skin moisturized by applying moisturizers. You need to keep the skin properly moisturized because moisture protects the skin from wrinkles. Oily skin never develops wrinkles, but dry skin is highly prone to get wrinkles.

3.    Remove make-up while go on bed; never go to sleep with your make-up. Make-up contains chemicals which can damage your skin cells and decrease their elasticity resulting in rashes. So always remove it before going to sleep. Use a good cleanser that can give you deep root cleaning.

4.    Cleaner & Lotions, If you have developed spots as a result of aging, use alpha-hydroxy cleansers and lotions. These helps to minimize the age spots. Some creams such as Ambi or Esoterica help in regaining the original colour of your skin.

5.    Skin & dehydration, drinking plenty of water is another method to replenish your skin with lost moisture. Water has a hydrating property. It prevents drying of the skin and also maintains its elasticity. It also helps in cleaning of the skin pores.

6.    Drinking and smoking, avoid excessive drinking and smoking as they corrode your skin making it dull and life-less.

7.    Take anti-oxidants in the form of vitamin A, C and E. These anti-oxidants act on free radicals that cause major skin damage resulting in loosening of skin.

8.    Stress and depression too have some role in pre-mature aging. So avoid them as much as you can.

9.    Take a good sleep as skin cells grow and repair themselves while sleeping. Skin feels fresh and it breaths after you have taken a good sleep.

10. Diet, Remember that what contributes most to your radiant or chapped skin is your regular diet. So, concentrate on intake of material nutrients, anti-oxidants & apt amount of hydration
